John Hovland at the age 90 of Dalton, MN and Apache Junction, AZ passed away on March 28, 2026 in AZ.  He was the last of 11 children of John and Alma Hovland.

He is survived by his daughter Denise and son in law Jim Marsland, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.  He considered his many friends as family;  Bridget and Randy Brumagin of Wittmann, AZ;  Benita and Brad Hackbarth of Hutchinson, MN; Brenda Luhrs of Grand Rapids, MN; Dan Asp of Gilbert, MN; Ron and Amanda Wach, Greg and Barb Onstad of Dalton, MN; Friends of the Palms, Apache Junction, AZ.

Celebration of life is being planned for MN (this summer) and later in AZ.  He will be so missed.
