John Ivy Morris II, 60, of Queen Creek, AZ, passed away on May 26, 2012, from complications following emergency surgery. Born November 17, 1951, in Richmond California, John moved to Wickenburg, Arizona in 1968 where he graduated from Wickenburg High School. His love was adobe and keeping the tradition alive in Arizona. He started San Tan Adobe in Congress, AZ and in 1986 relocated his business to Queen Creek, AZ. John was preceded in death by his father, John Ivy Morris Sr., mother, Dr. Ann Relyea, and sister, Janet Scott. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ruby, four children, Jason, Shelly, Tony, and John III, daughter in-law, Lindsay, grandson, John IV, and sister, Bette McLaughlin. He touched many lives in his years and loved to make people smile. John was always quick to tell a joke and loved to tell old stories from his colorful past. He loved to travel the AZ roads and felt like a pioneer himself. Memorial services will be held at Calvary Chapel of Queen Creek located at 19248 East San Tan Blvd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142, June 8th at 5:00 pm followed by a celebration of his life at the family’s adobe home he built in Queen Creek.
