John M. H. Garman 88 of Mesa, AZ passed away Friday February 17, 2012 in Gilbert, AZ. Mr. Garman World War II Veteran (1942-1946) was born in Sapulpa, OK. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Lou, parents Francis and Jacob and older brother Jacob. He is survived by his 3 daughters Sondra, Sharon (Bob), Cecilia (Dennis) of Arizona and younger brother David (Barbara) of Texas, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  He was a member of Knights of Columbus for 60 years. He volunteered his time helping St. Vincent de Paul for 50 years. Visitation will be February 23, 2012, 5pm – 7pm with a Rosary at 6pm at Mountain View Funeral Home 7900 E. Main Street Mesa, AZ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday February 24, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ. Followed by interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial contributions to St. Vincent de Paul conference at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
