John “Jack” Patrick Maxwell, age 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 13, 2019 while surrounded by his family. He was born on June 10, 1945 in Paterson, NJ and attended Pompton Lakes High School. He was a proud Navy veteran and served from 1963-1966 as a Fire Control Technician with the Missile Guidance Systems Petty Officer 3rd Class. After the Navy he completed some college and trade school to become an electrician. Later he worked for Motorola, Microchip, VLSI Technology and Philips Semiconductor as a facility manager. Jack was a long-time resident of Palmas Del Sol East Community in Apache Junction. Jack’s hobbies over the years included West Coast swing dancing, riding his motorcycle and walking his dogs, Stanley and Murphy and resting with his cats, Ollie and Blu.

Jack is survived by his wife of 16 ½ years, Mary Maxwell, and his five children: his son, Ryan Maxwell and Erin (wife), his daughter, Colleen Anger and Ray (husband) and their children, Grace, Noah and Taylor, his daughter, Kathleen Kattelman and Brian (husband) and their children, Ella, Nathan and Deana, his son, Jeffrey Maxwell and Angela (wife) and their children, Carter, Rylee and Madyson, and his daughter, Kelly Jensen and Dave (husband) and their children, Parker and Charlotte and also, Mary’s sons, Wesley Waller and Launa (wife) and their children, Sydney and Kassie and Wendell Waller and his children, Wayce and his children, Caleb and Kaspen, Whitney, Makala and Morgan and her son, Reni.

He is preceded in death by his birth parents, John and Blanche Maxwell and his Aunt Peg and Uncle Bill Maxwell who raised him. He also is preceded by his half-brothers, Jim and Joe Maxwell.

Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 12:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona which is located at 23029 N Cave Creek Road Phoenix, AZ 85024.
