John Raleigh, 58, of Mesa, passed away suddenly on December 21, 2019. John was born on July 29, 1961 to Thomas and Eileen Raleigh in Valley Stream, New York. John was the youngest of three sons. John graduated from Valley Stream South High School and attended Farmingdale State College.

At the age of 23, John moved to Arizona to be with his parents, who had retired to Mesa a few years earlier. John soon found work at Hughes Aircraft Corporation. Over the next 35 years, he would survive mergers, buyouts, and layoffs to work for Boing Industries working on the AH64 Apache Helicopter. John travelled for Boing as their representative for that aircraft.

In 1995, John met and married his loving wife, Tamera and together they raised two wonderful children, son John Ross and daughter Lexi. John was a very involved Dad, coaching the children in baseball and softball. He was a huge baseball and hockey fan, who attended games with the kids. The family travelled often and we all looked forward to the Christmas Cards to see what adventure they were on that year.

John is survived by his wife Tamera, son John Ross and his wife Michelle, daughter Lexi, they were all the absolute love of his life. He is also survived by his brothers: Tom (Marilyn) and Jim (Diane), 16 nieces and nephews, and 17 grand-nieces and nephews
