The family of John Randolph Smith announce the passing of John on the morning of February 20th, 2024. John was born in Allentown, PA, where he lived with his family in Catasauqua, PA. John was a proud Rough Rider, as he played on the football and baseball teams, then graduate from Catasauqua High School.
John was also, a resident of Gilbert, AZ, where he lived with his family, to then retired from Federal Express after 30 years of service. John spent much of his spare time traveling, exploring the backroads of Arizona on his Harley Davidson, and enjoying time with his family.
John is survived by his wife Susan Smith, his brothers Robert Smith of Greenbelt, MD, Ronald Smith of Northampton, PA, and James Smith of Lehighton, PA; his step-daughter Heather Ramsey with granddaughter Raylee of Arizona, step-son Tommy Ramsey, and his wife Kiya with granddaughter Abby of California, along with numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Services are expected to be held in April for Arizona and Pennsylvania in May 2024.
