Joseph David Coleman was born 7/10/1993 in Phoenix, Arizona.  He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2022.  Joseph was doing so well into his 3rd year post-heart transplant and his passing came unexpectedly.  He fought through a lifetime of heart problems and medical procedures.  Yet in spite of the many challenges he faced in life, Joseph accomplished much in his 28 years.

Joseph graduated from Mesa Community College and Arizona State University, was a camper and counselor with Nick and Kelly Children’s Heart Fund, a volunteer at Make A Wish Foundation, Power Paws Assistance Dogs, an Eagle Scout and a 4-H Club member and leader.

He is survived by his parents Karen and Scott Coleman, sister Cori Coleman, brothers Ben Coleman, grandparents David and Geraldine Couchman and Charles and Mary Coleman, great grandmother Jennie Keaton, aunts Tracy (Stoney) Corbin and Sarah Nenaber, and cousins Lizzie, Brooklyn, Joshua, Luke and Evan.

Joseph was the very embodiment of love, courage, tenacity, humility, mercy and grace.  He enjoyed helping and serving others, especially those in need.  He loved animals, zoos, aquariums, camping, fishing, cooking, video games, movies, travel and visiting historical sites.  Joseph loved life and was a beloved son, grandson, great grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
