Joe went to be with his Lord on March 9, 2011 at the age of 70. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 11, 1940 and moved to Arizona in 1978. Having studied electrical engineering, he worked in management for utilities in PA and AZ. Also, Joe was a pastor in PA and remained active in various churches, most recently Church of the Redeemer in Mesa. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty; his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Wayne McKinley; his daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Paul Borgesen Jr. and Leanne and Carl Martin; his grandchildren, Salvador and Christian Lopez and Jonah and Hannah Martin. The memorial Service will be held at Church of the Redeemer, 717 N. Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ at 11:00 am on Monday, March 14, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Redeemer Christian School, 719 N. Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ 85203.
