Joy L. Manson, 89, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on November 28, 2023. Joy was born in Malone, NY on April 3,1934 to William and Gladys Ledger. Joy married Floyd “Biff” Manson in December, 1953. Biff and Joy operated a dairy farm for nine years until Biff’s health began to decline. Joy returned to college and earned a teaching degree in Home Economics from Plattsburgh State University in 1964. In 1970, Joy and Biff move to Arizona for Biff’s health. Joy taught Home Economics in Tucson and then they settled in Globe, AZ, where Joy was a teacher for 22 years at Miami High School.
Joy’s loving husband preceded her in death in 2005. In addition to her husband and parents, Joy also was preceded in death by her two sisters, June (William) Huntley and Janice (John) Dumont.
