Judith C. Eveland, 81, resident of Mesa, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2012 surrounded my family and loved ones. Judith was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 26, 1931, born to Roger Rickenbacher and Ruth Reaver. Judith attended West High school and graduated in 1949 with her High school diploma. Judith was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Donald Eveland, and her sister Ruth Ann. Judith spent her life as a homemaker, dedicating herself to her family up until the day of her passing. She was a very kind-hearted woman who spent her days with family and her beloved dog, Daisy. She loved to bowl, collect knick-knacks such as Barbies and butterflies and loved animals. Judith was survived by her son, Michael Eveland (Teri), daughter Cynthia Berry, grandchildren Jennifer, Michael, Brooke, Alex and William and great-grandchild Wyatt. A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11am. A gathering will be held at Cynthia’s house following the service.
