Passed Away on March 29, 2021


Judy Gosik was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left our hearts unexpectedly on March 29, 2021 at the age of 79 in Mesa, Arizona.

 

Judy enjoyed family gatherings and preparing meals for her family, especially over the holidays. She enjoyed the Indianapolis Symphony and was a longtime fan of the Colts and Pacers. She later became a fan of the Arizona DBacks. Judy’s favorite vacation spot was the Mackinac Island and staying at the Grand Hotel. She was employed at Delco Electronics as a Financial Analyst for just over 30 years.

 

Judy was a very proud grandmother of nine and a great grandmother of one and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews.

 

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Victoria and Clifford Gartin; brothers, David and Chet (Mary Jane, surviving) Gartin; and son, August Trometer Jr. Judy is survived by her husband of 30 years, John “Chet” Gosik; sons: August (Beth) Trometer III, Scott (Christy) Trometer, John (Diane) Trometer; daughter, Christine (Christopher) Cheyne, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn (Steve) Schoenherr; brother, Michael Gartin; and many nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating Judy’s life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona.
