Juette M. Bunce, age 85 of Commerce, Oklahoma, passed away at 5:40 am on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Chetopa Manor in Chetopa, Kansas.
Juette was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on August 14, 1931 to the union of Glen L. Lemons and Magdelene (Garrison)Lemons. She married Clyde L. Williams in Phoenix, Arizona on April 17, 1948. They made their home in Globe, Arizona for many years, and he preceded her in death. She returned to the four-state area and later married Junior Bunce in Miami, Oklahoma in November of 2000, and he preceded her in death.
Juette spent twelve years working as a baker in an elementary school cafeteria. She retired in the early 1970’s. She was a member of the Baptist Faith, and enjoyed gardening and spending time with the family, especially her precious grandchildren.
Juette was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Magdelene; her husband, Glen Lemons; her husband, Junior Bunce; one sister, Glenetta Waters; one brother, Jack Lemons; and one son-in-law, Curt Eppler.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy R. Williams (wife, Sandi) of Apache Junction, Arizona; two daughters, Marilyn L. Mills (husband, Thomas) of Miami, Oklahoma and Carrie Eppler of Commerce, Oklahoma; two brothers, LaRay Lemons (wife, Darla) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Harley Lemons of Arizona; one sister, Dalene Wells of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Following the funeral, arrangements will be made for Juette to be buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
