The family of Julian V Renteria is saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father on the 11th of February. He was born on January 28, 1941, in Hachita, NM. Julian was a brother, husband, father of five, grandfather of ten, and great grandfather of eleven. Julian was a resident of Duncan AZ, graduating from Duncan High School in 1958, He married his soulmate Eloisa R Rodriguez and quickly began a family. Julian proudly served in the Prescott Arizona National Guard from 1965 -1967. Though his career started at Carl’s Shoes in Prescott AZ. the family ultimately moved to Mesa AZ where Julian worked for JC Penney Co. and retired after 35 years as their Purchasing manager. Julian later retired from the Salvation Army and moved to Prescott Valley, after the passing of his beloved wife in 2005. Julian was a devout man of faith and a proud member of the Catholic Church. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved both his Dallas Cowboys, and ASU Football. Julian will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.

 

Rosary service will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2023; 5-8 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery in Mesa. Funeral ceremony will be held at All Saints Catholic Church at 10 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

    My Uncle Julian was such an inspiration and played a big part of my life. While I know he will be missed, I also know he has left us with so many joyous memories that are certain to stay with us.
