Kathryn Lennington Cue, 65, of Mesa Arizona, passed away on the 8th day of September 2017. The funeral services will be held at 2:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona.  Pastor Rowdy Van Horn of One Church Scottsdale will be officiating.

Kathryn was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the parents of Dr. Jack William Lennington and Carolyn Smith Lennington, on May 4, 1952. She graduated in 1970 from Madison Heights High School and continued on to Madison College where she graduated in 1974 with her Bachelors in Science. In the fall of 1974 she moved to Tucson, Arizona to attend the University of Arizona to complete her Masters in Science.

Kathryn took a job as a P.E. teacher and coached the girls basketball team for a small school in Arizona. She moved to Florida a few years later to accept a position at a larger school coaching the girls basketball team. In 1979, Kathryn and her husband Daryle Cue, welcomed a son, Scott Alan Cue. She accepted a position in Arizona as a principal in the Paloma School district where she lived until 1984 when she became the principal at a Queen Creek school. Over the years she worked her way up to Assistant Superintendent.

Kathryn is survived by her Grandson Tyson Jack Cue, son Scott Alan Cue, and three step sons, Rick, Steve, and Kevin.

As a breast cancer survivor, Kathryn always gave generous donations to the Susan G. Komen foundation. To honor her memory, her family has set up a fundraiser in her name, to honor the life and love that Kathy always showed to everyone.
