Larry Wright Judd, age 89 of Mesa, Arizona, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026.
He was born in Tempe, AZ on October 9, 1936.
Larry graduated from Tempe Union High School and received a BA in Education from Arizona State University and a master’s degree from Northern Arizona University.
Larry served a full-time mission, two years, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Central America.
After completion of his church service Larry began his lengthy career as a High School Educator in the Mesa Public School District.
He was a member of The Boy Scouts of America and had a passion for all things outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing and boating.
Larry was married to Paula Ann Pearce, April 9, 1960 they had one daughter together, Sharilyn.
He married Barbara Jarvis, June 11,1965. They had three sons together, Larry Benjamin, Stephen Fielding and Robert Jarvis.
Sharilyn was later adopted by Barbara.
In 2009 Larry met Darla, they were married May 15, 2010 and were together for ten years until Darla’s passing in December of 2020.
Larry is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026
