Laurence (Larry) Crosby Thomas, a man of character and dedicated service, passed away March 24, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of family and honor. Born on January 3, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to Robert and Betty Thomas. A proud patriot, Laurence dedicated three years of his young adulthood to the United States Army. His time in the military was a point of pride, reflecting a lifelong commitment to duty and the values of the country he served. Laurence was a devoted father. His pride and joy lived on through his five children, who remember him for the unique mark he left on their lives. He is survived by his loving children; Ginger Rogers, Jean Thomas, Laurence Thomas, Jr, Sherry Brazil, and Amy Tyack. In addition to his children, he is survived by a large and loving circle of extended family and many dear friends who became like family over the years.
Laurence was a steady presence in the lives of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00AM.
