It is with great sadness that we announce that on March 13, 2023, Lawrence “Larry” Albert Kukulski died unexpectedly of natural causes in Mesa, Arizona at 67 years of age.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Kukulski, granddaughter, Riley Muro, and great granddaughter, Isla Muro. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Kukulski Miller, by his brothers, David Kukulski and Daniel Kukulski, and by seven nieces and nephews, as well as numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Patricia Kukulski.

Born on June 11, 1955, in Ganado, Arizona, Larry graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah in 1973. Given his affinity and talent for all things mechanical and as an avid motorcyclist, Larry went on to study mechanics at several schools including the MMI Institute in Phoenix, where he completed specialized training that included certifications for Harley-Davidson, Honda, and Yamaha. Larry then shared his knowledge at the MMI Institute as a teacher and further utilized his training and experience by working at a number of motorcycle dealerships in the Valley.

The latter part of Larry’s career also included a partnership with his brothers, Dave and Dan, in Kukulski Brothers, a family business, which is a Sports T-Shirt and Souvenir Company.

Well-known locally for his considerable skill and knowledge of motorcycles and cars, Larry earned a reputation for his expertise with vintage motorcycles and most recently repaired bikes from his home in Gold Canyon. He also enjoyed gardening, talking shop with his many friends, and having Lady, his loving and faithful dog for the last 13 years, always by his side.

A devoted father and grandfather, Larry cared deeply for his entire extended family. He was quick to rejoice in their successes and supported them in any way he could. His unmistakable, unique humor and free spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life is planned on Saturday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Golden Stallion Restaurant, 6030 South Kings Ranch Road, Gold Canyon, 85118. All family and friends are invited to attend and are asked to RSVP to Dan Kukulski at 602-769-0180.
