LeRoy Charles Schipper, 79, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away peacefully Monday January 14, 2013. LeRoy was born in Crookston, MN, Dec.1933. Joined the Army in 1952 serving in the Korean War as a paratrooper. Raised his family in Brighton, CO. then moved to Chandler, AZ. LeRoy was married to Maureen Leikness in June 1956; they were married 57 years. LeRoy worked as a Construction Supervisor until retired. He was well respected and loved by all. He cherished his 5 grand-daughters and treasured his time with great-grandson and “partner” Matthew LeRoy. LeRoy is lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Maureen; daughter-Connie; Sons- Tom (Teresa) and Steve (Lu); granddaughters-Megan, Nicole, Katie, Tracey, and Chelsey; great grandson-Matthew LeRoy; sisters- Darlene, Lorraine and Gladys and brother Richard; along with other family and friends.
