Linda A. Sanders passed away Monday morning November 19, 2012 at the age of 73 in the arms of her beloved husband Thomas E. Sanders at their home in Mesa, AZ. Born in Norwalk, CT May 2, 1939, she lived a full and courageous life, all the while enduring Spina Bifida. Throughout her life she had great accomplishments including attending MCC and Lamson Colleges. She was an Executive Secretary for the ITT Courier Company in Tempe, AZ. Linda and Tom enjoyed many great trips throughout the world on cruises, travels abroad, and road trips with their motor home; a great passion of theirs. Their unconditional love for each other was unquestionable, especially in the thorough medical care administered and monitored by Tom in her final times. This commitment of love gave Linda many more years for all to enjoy. She is survived by her four children; Elizabeth and Margaret Chaney, and Julianna Bailey of KY, Matthew Chaney of AZ, brothers Joseph and Robert Andres, and sister Rosalie Elliot of AZ, sister-in-law Linda Jean Andres of ME, stepdaughters Rebecca Kennedy and Thomie Whitfield of GA, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Her beauty, wit, and wisdom will be remembered by all as well as her wonderful laugh, including a great affection for dachshunds and giraffes. Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ.
