It is with a heavy heart that the family of Linda M. Goodrum, 67 of Apache Junction, AZ, share with you the news of her passing. Linda went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2022, in Mesa, AZ with her daughter and mother by her side, and countless family members close by.
Linda, the oldest of eight children, was born June 2, 1954 in Springfield, Ohio to Leonard and Julia (Lahrman) Gundolf. Her family moved to Arizona when she was a teenager, where she lived the remainder of her life. Linda’s family meant everything to her and she never met an animal she didn’t love. Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She loved making things for her family and friends, especially baby blankets. She lived a quiet, peaceful life and was known to family and friends for her big heart and generous nature.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, David Goodrum, father, Leonard Gundolf, brother Michael Gundolf and sister Dawn Aaron. She is survived by her mother, Julia Gundolf, daughter, Karen and husband Curtis Anderson, grandchildren Derek Barone and Kaitlyn Kemppainen, brothers, Donald Gundolf (and wife Suzann) and Timothy Gundolf (and wife Carol), sisters Kathy Poston (and husband Larry), Nancy Mangels (and husband Gene) and Paula Rojo (and husband Paul), many nieces and nephews (great nieces and nephews too) and some beloved friends she considered family as well.
Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207 on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
I miss you so much, mom. I know you are still with me, I feel your presence often.
