Known to friends as Lou, Lucille Marilyn Pillow lost her short battle with heart disease on 12 January 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Pillow, brothers Fred, Bob, and Ned, and sister Eleanor Parker. She is survived by her children Peggy (&Phil) Harris, Todd Pillow, and Linda (&Frank) Bilek, sister Dorothy (&Ron Dietz) Warren, three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends. Lou enjoyed traveling with and visiting her children & grandchildren, gardening, reading, gifting date-filled cookies to family and friends every Christmas and learning genealogy & family history. Lou and Roy did wooden handicraft projects; he was the carpenter and she was the painter. She worked in Mesa, Arizona as a waitress for twenty-three years and felt like she was being paid to visit with friends plus she got to walk a lot (her favorite physical activity).
