She is survived by her son Ron Jr. (Sher) Mesa AZ, daughters Judy Galbrecht, Mesa AZ, Linda Borden, Hutto Texas and daughter in law Lisa McRae of Queen Creek, along with 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her smile and at times stubborn determination. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her, but find comfort in knowing she has returned home and is finally reunited with the husband she so dearly loved and missed. Graveside services will be on Friday at 11:00AM, December 2, 2011 at the Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N Center St., Mesa, Az 85201. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Shepherd of the Pines Methodist Church in Overgaard, AZ (P.O. Box 1402, Overgaard AZ 85933).
I have such good memories of Aunt Margaret. We first met when Uncle Ron was in the army and she and her girls stayed with us in Ohio. In Yuma, we stayed with them when we first moved there. I remember her tuna fish salad sandwiches and sweet tea, her great laugh, her love for her children and her kindness to us all. She made an impact in my life, and I know she’s with Uncle Ron and my own parents now.
Ron our prayers go out to you and your family.
Ron, so sorry for your loss. Cheryl Houser
Granny:
Your smiles can brighten any moment,
Your hugs put joy in all my days,
Your love will stay with me forever
And touch my life in precious ways…
The values you’ve taught,
the care you’ve given,
and the wonderful love you’ve shown,
have enriched my life
in more ways than I can count.
Love, Stephanie

Ron, Judy and Linda – Our love and prayers surround you all at this time and in the days ahead. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Ron played a special part in our lives – love and family. I’ll always remember her smile and remember that Texan accent as she called my name! I know she is happy being reunited with her best friend! Love you all.
Ron I’m certainly sorry to hear of your loss. My family’s thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Ron, Judy, and Linda: my condolences are with you all. But I’m smiling a bit, too. What a character Aunt Margaret was – had to be, married to Unc Ron! And you know they are now reunited. I can picture and hear them both carrying on already! Love you all.
Dearest Ron, Judy and Linda and families, We were so sorry to learn of Aunt Margaret’s death. Please know our prayers and love are with all of your family in the days ahead. I will always treasure the love and kindnesses both she and Uncle Ron gave us when both Dad and Mom died. I don’t know if you know that your Dad and Mom would call me every so often to make sure we were alright; and after Uncle Ron died, she continued to periodically call me to make sure we were okay. I think it concerned her that my Ron had heart problems, too. She was the last of our older generation; and the last person to call me “Donna Lou” with her wonderful accent. We’re thankful each of you had her in your lives these many years.
God Bless, Love, Donna & Ron
Ron, very sorry for your loss. Prayers and hugs for you and your family in this time.
Aunt Margaret was such a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. I am so glad I was able to see her and visit with her this past January. I will alway’s remember her and Uncle Doyle coming together and singing at my Dads funeral, they showed there brother how much they loved him by giving him this one last gift. I am so very sorry for your loss Judy, Linda and Ronnie. I can just imagine what a reunion it is in Heaven with all the Hefner and Trafzer family coming together. I am so looking forward to the day when we all can be reunited again. Nothing but fond memories here. We have a wonderful family.
RW,Judy and Linda, so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was my favorite Aunt… going to Aunt Margaret and Uncle Ron’s house was always a special treat when I was a kid,
I was always welcomed with a warm hug and smile. She will be greatly missed. I also know that there was a joyous reunion when she got to be with her family again…
I’m sad for the loss of Aunt Margaret, and have fond memories of staying weekends at her and Uncle Rons house in the valley in Yuma. I have had many great times uncle ron giving me beers and Margaret jumping all over Ron..Telling him she was going to tell Doyle.. I don’t think she ever did..
They always seemed to be in love and now they are together again. I’m happy now she can rest free from pain and stress..I love you Aunt Margaret, keep the old man in line !!
