Maria Jesús Martinez De Magana was born in Michoacán Mexico in 1934 and married Jose Dolores Magaña in 1948. In 1957 Maria, with her first 4 kids, moved to Baja California following her husband Jose who was waiting for them in search of a better life. Eventually they moved to San Luis Sonora, which was their home for many years. Finally, they moved to the United States in December of 2007 where they spent the rest of their lives in leisure. Maria turned 91 years old on September 09 of this year and passed a month later.
Maria leaves behind a beautiful family. She was a loving wife to Jose for 70 years and a loving mother to their 12 children, 8 boys and 4 girls. She had 25 grandchildren, 34 great, grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren. Her youngest son, Raymundo, kept her quest for life going many extra years as she knew he needed and wanted her care. Her main objective in life was to make sure everyone had their stomachs full and she always blessed everyone on their way home.
María Jesús will be remembered and greatly missed by her entire family.
