Marjorie A. Janovics Pitts was born on October 30,1944 to Andrew Sr. and Louise Janovics in Chicago, Illinois. She entered heaven on November 8th 2024.
She is survived by her loving daughters Marjorie Icky (Bryan), Christine (Scott), Karen (Dan), son Christopher (Melissa), and pre-deceased son Jay Jr. (Marian). Marjorie grew up in Chicago and enjoyed being a part of the Hungarian community where she learned to perform Hungarian dances with her cousins. While in high school she was a majorette and often shared her fond memories of being a part of the Chicago parades. She sure loved to dance. You may have been called up to dance the jitterbug or waltz with her even if it was in her living room. In her spare time, Marjorie enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and reading her bible. She spent countless time and years as the business manager for a company she and Jay Sr. founded in 1977. Their marriage of 56 years was full of adventure with motorcycle trips with their closest friends, boating, flying, and cruising to Hawaii, Florida and other islands to enjoy the ocean views.
But most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren along with connecting with relatives and friends.
