Marjorie Elizabeth Flinn, 91, of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully in her sleep, September 26, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the Spring in Holland, VT. Marjorie was born on January 28, 1923 to Charles and Doris Hastings, in Derby, VT. She married Harley Gray Flinn in 1944, while he was in the Navy. They eventually settled in California where they raised two sons. They became avid square dancers, traveled in their motorhome throughout the U.S. and parts of Canada and enjoyed several trips to countries around the world. Marjorie’s love of card games with her family and many friends was unparalleled. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband Harley; two brothers, Harry and Lawrence; and one sister, Eda Jane. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (and wife Vicki) of Mesa, AZ and Timothy of Apache Jct., AZ; her sister, Elaine Hill of Lake Worth, FL and her brother, Skip Hastings (and wife Bessie) of Derby, VT. The family would like to thank Arbor Rose Assisted Living and Sage Hospice for their care of Marjorie and support of the family. Donations may be made to Sage Hospice, 5111 N.
