Forever In the Hearts They Leave Behind

Mark Andrew Anderson

September 27, 1956 – June 22, 2021

Mark Andrew Anderson was born on September 27, 1956, in Fairmont, Minnesota to Leonard and Marjorie (Bromley) Anderson.  Mark graduated from Fairmont High School class of 1975.  He attended college at South Dakota State University.
Mark was involved in many activities including: the Martin County Sheriff’s Posse, Civic Summer Theater, Blue Earth Town and Country Players, and starred as “Cousin John” in Our Story Studios cable television series As The Corn Grows and Split Hoof Tonight. Both Mark and his wife Dianna (married 2003) enjoyed the above-mentioned community groups, during the ten years they resided in Fairmont (2006-16).  Mark adored his pet parrots which he and Dianna often took to schools and nursing homes to entertain and educate others. Mark loved golf, or as he described it “chasing a little white ball through park-like settings” and was a member of Interlaken Golf Club. You never had to twist his arm to watch a Vikings or Twins game.
Mark’s professional career included decades in the car business ranging from sales, to finance and management positions. Most recently he worked as a Human Resources Representative in Tempe, Arizona.
Mark passed away on June 22, 2021 at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, AZ as a result of internal injuries suffered during an automobile accident. He was 64 years old.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Dianna, his daughters Kristen (Cooter) DeBow of Amarillo, Texas, and Andrea (Michael) Johnston of Canyon, Texas, grandchildren Cole and Dalton DeBow, and Charlotte and Reese Johnston, Mark’s sister Vicki (Don) Brosnahan of Spirit Lake, Iowa, nephew Brian (Jen) Brosnahan and their children Alex, Emory, and Gavin, nephew David (Amanda) Brosnahan and their children Amelia and Fynn, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
Services to be held Monday July 5th from 9:00-11:00am, at Lakeview Funeral Home, Fairmont, MN. Private family interment at Lakeside Cemetery to follow.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to consider a donation to one of these worthy causes. https://the-oasis.org/donate/ or https://arnoldspark.com/legendcoaster/
