Mark William Carrel was called to heaven on September 06, 2022 at the age of 64. He was born August 05, 1958 in Hollywood, CA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jewel Carrel; father, Curt Carrel; and brother, Michael Carrel. Mark is survived by his wife, Sally Carrel; daughters, Christina Carrel, Kathryn Ellis, Eva Henry; son, Kevin Carrel; and numerous grandchildren.

Mark retired after dedicating 30 years to the State of Arizona. Following retirement, he volunteered his time to Meals on Wheels and served those in need. He was very skilled in woodworking and auto mechanics, spending many hours in his shop.  His love for cars was shown through his time rebuilding a 57′ custom Chevrolet truck.

Mark could be found each day spending time in his shop with a cup of coffee in the morning and a Miller Lite and cigar in the evening. Mark lived out his final days “enjoying life’s every precious moment”.

Graveside service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa, Arizona 85207, on September 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM.

    Mark was one of the first people who gave me a chance and to help me grow into the career that I am happy in today. He was always a kind soul to work with and very understanding. I am sorry for your loss and I wish all those who know him comfort in this time. Rest in Peace Mark and know that he made an impact on the world and those around him for the better.
