Mark Joseph Cleary of Apache Junction, age 49 passed away on July 5, 2013. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Patrick and Mary (nee Wegas) Cleary on November 4, 1963 and was the oldest of 4 children. He attended Saint Mel Grade School and Holy Name High School in Cleveland where he lettered in football and wrestling. Mark was an award winning natural body builder as well as an accomplished lyricist and musician. He worked as a Peer Support Specialist at Choices Network of Arizona in Tempe, AZ and had a very fulfilling career in Behavioral Health. He loved living in Apache Junction Arizona which he described as “a postcard.” Mark is survived by his parents, first wife, Dana Groom, which they share a daughter Kaitlyn Rain and a son, Christian David, second wife Donna Hartzfeld which they share a daughter Morgan Paige and a son, John Joseph, sister Kathleen Jerge and brother-in-law, Edward, brother Patrick and daughter-in-law, Christine, and Thomas, grand-daughter Evelyn Grace, five nephews, two nieces and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, July 24th, 2013 at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church at 6640 S Kings Ranch Road, Gold Canyon, AZ. Memorial donations may be made to Wells Fargo in the name of Mark J. Cleary.
