Mary Ann Spies Obituary

Mary Ann Spies, 85, passed away Nov 23, 2015 following a courageous battle with lymphoma. She was born in Cleveland, OH to Anthony J. and Caroline Trivisonno, and spent the first half of her life in Wickliffe, OH. She married Robert J. Spies in 1950 and together they raised six children. “Bob” and Mary Ann moved to Arizona in 1977 with their entire family. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2013, her parents, and her brother, Anthony Jr. She will be greatly missed by her children, Karen, Robert Jr., Kathryn, Michael, Mary Jo and David; those she loved as her own (Dan, Diane, Scott and Mary Pat); sister, Angela; brother Tom; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; all of her nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held Wed. December 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1551 E. Dana Ave, Mesa, AZ. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ.
