Mary Lu Bingham Urrea returned to her Heavenly Home on July 10, 2019 after a brief illness.

She was born to Pearl Geneva Cluff and John Brigham Bingham on September 4, 1928 in Colonia Garcia, Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young girl she lived in Bisbee, AZ and moved to Mesa, AZ, at the age of 10. She graduated from Mesa High in 1947.

She married Oscar Urrea Dec. 4, 1947 and they raised a family of 3 daughters and 2 sons on the Urrea and Sons cotton farm in East Mesa.

She was a wonderful homemaker and loved to cook. When they retired, mom and dad opened up an antique shop which was on the same property of their first home on Main St. called “Almost Anything” in the 1980’s. She loved her time there making many friends over the years.

Mary Lu was preceded in death by her daughter, Robyn Lynn Urrea and her husband, Oscar.

She survived by her 4 children: Victoria Ann Kos, Diane Winfield, son-in-law J. Murphy Winfield, Benjamin Phillip Urrea, daughter-in-law, Michelle Rouen Urrea, Charles Anthony Urrea, daughter-in-law Laura Hopley Urrea and sister, Tawny Hunsaker, 12 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

She will be greatly missed but has gone to be with her Lord and Savior.

A graveside service for Mary Lu will be held Monday July 15, 2019 at 9:00 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, Arizona 85207.
