Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing our beloved mother, Mary Margaret Luna, entered heaven on April 13, 2025, at the age of 66. A beautiful soul with a heart full of compassion and love for others, she was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her.
Mary Luna, was a beloved mother, nana, nanita, sister, nina, tia, nana nina, and friend. She fought fiercely every day to be here for her kids and family. She was a Cancer survivor who won twice!! She was a loving and giving woman, known for her strength, selflessness, and unshakable spirit. She faced every challenge in life with courage, positivity, and grace. A true fighter! Her love truly knew no bounds. She was the heart of our family, always offering comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love and support.
She had a deep passion for helping others, and she gave her time freely through countless acts of kindness and volunteer work. Whether it was a warm meal, a helping hand, or a listening ear, Mary, never hesitated to reach out and lift up those in need. She had a heart of gold.
She is lovingly survived by her four children: Rosa Castillo, Celina Hillman, Maria LeBlanc, and Daniel Dial—along with their spouses, and the grandchildren (15) and great-grandchildren (5) who filled her life with endless joy.
She also leaves behind her dear sister, Nani Luna, and her brothers Robert, Tony, Mike, and Ruben Luna.
She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved parents, Robert and Juanita Luna, and her brother, Al Luna.
Mary Margaret had a deep love for her entire family, always cherishing time spent together and celebrating life’s special moments.
Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the strength she inspired in all of us.
We will carry her love with us always.
