Mary Rose James

Passed Away on February 25, 1927

Mary Rose James of Gold Canyon, AZ was born February 25, 1927 and passed away February 15, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Mearl Sands. Mary leaves behind her loving husband Garland James; the couple just celebrated their 65^th wedding anniversary on February 5^th. She is also survived by her four children Cheryl Okamoto of Gold Canyon, Darrell James of Globe, Judy Thomas of Apache Junction and David James of Gilbert. Mary and Garland started James Tire Sales of Apache Junction in 1978 and have since turned it over to their son David James. Mary was a beautician in her early years when she met Garland. Her hobbies included bowling, fishing, camping, traveling, and playing cards with her friends. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Mary will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew her. Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday March 5, 2011 at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ (480-832-2850).
