Mary was born to Miguel Ybarra and Cecelia Delgado in Jerome, Arizona, July 22nd 1935.  The family left Jerome around 1937, so most of the family was raised in Superior, AZ.  Mary was the youngest of approximately 19 brothers and sisters.  She is preceded by all, has one surviving sister Connie Ybarra Navarro McCullough.  Aunt Mary ended her journey here on earth after sunset on March 15, 2019.

She was a widow twice, with her recent husband Severo Mena passing October 25, 2008 who she missed dearly.  They were married for over twenty years. Mary never had any children of her own, but she was blessed with sharing Severo’s children with him.  She also had lots of nieces and nephews to call her own.  Mary and Severo loved life together, they would pray together, worked side by side doing things around the house or someone else’s house, but most of all they loved to dance especially at family functions.  Services Friday March 22, 2019 between 6pm-8pm at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery.
