Michael Edward Kos (Mike), 74, of Mesa, Arizona, died Monday, March 11,2019 after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. Mike was born on December 27, 1944 in Austin, MN to Edward and Viola Kos.  After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and served for 4 years.  After his service, he resided in the Mesa, Arizona area, which became his home.

He spent most of his working life in RV sales and won many awards for being dedicated and valued top salesperson.  He was and avid sports fan and golf was his greatest passion.  He also, enjoyed music and dancing. Mike leaves behind his son, David, his step-daughters, Denise Zacher and Lea Sipione, brothers, Richard (Rich) and Robert (Bob), several step grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death recently by his son Scott, also his parents & sister, Linda.  A future memorial service will be planned for later this year at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Cave Creek, Arizona.  Memorials are suggested to: Sunshine Acres Childrens Home, 3405 N Higley Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215

    Mike I will miss you and visiting with you twice a year (for twelve years!) as your dental hygienist. You were always upbeat, even after your cancer diagnosis. I appreciated your kindness when I knew you weren’t feeling so great. Your courage throughout your illness inspired me so much.
