Michael Freisinger was born August 18, 1919 in the German Community of Glogowatz, Roumania. On October 27, 2011 he passed away peacefully in Mesa, Arizona.  In December, 1923 at the age of four with his Father Anton and Mother Rose Freisinger they arrived in New York at Ellis Island, then proceeded to Chicago, Illinois. Michael grew up in Chicago and joined the U.S. Army in 1941. In June 12, 1943 he married his sweetheart, Winifred Langer shortly before he shipped out to Europe and World War II. After the war in 1946 he was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky where daughter Noreen Lynn was born. In 1949 while stationed at Fort Ord, California, Michael Alan was born in Salinas, CA. From 1952-54 Michael participated in the Korean War. In 1956-1959 the family lived near Kaiserslauten, Germany, then moved to Lombard. Illinois in 1959. After 20 years service in the US Army, Michael retired from the US Army yet remained in the US Army Reserve until 1980 while working for Sara Lee, Motorola and other companies before retiring. Residing in Florida and Illinois over the years he and his beloved wife, Winfred moved to Mesa Arizona in the early 1980s. They were married for 68 years. He is survived by his wife Winifred, daughter Noreen, and son Michael Alan. He was a loving husband and father.
