Michael J. Sergiacomi, 64, formerly of 54 Great View Avenue, North Providence, passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, after a long illness, at his Arizona home surrounded by his family.
Mikey to his family, Squidley and Yankee Mike to his friends, Michael is survived by one daughter, Lacey Downing, 32, also of North Providence, and preceded by one daughter Larissa Downing, who passed in 2016.
The son of Louis (2021) and Jeannine, (1986) Sergiacomi, he is survived by two bothers: Louis G Sergiacomi, 66, of Littleton, MA and Paul R Sergiacomi, 63 of Hollywood, Fl., and two sisters, Donna Makavos, 57, of Apache Junction, AZ and Cindy Vadenais, 55, of Fountain Hills, AZ.
Michael also leaves his beloved life partner of 24 years, Joanne Russo, 68, also of Arizona.
A US Army veteran, Michael was Honorably Discharged in 1978 when he returned to Rhode Island to assist his father with the family business for many years before relocating to Daytona, FL where he met Joanne.
A private ceremony will be held in Arizona for the family.
