Monica Theresa Hall-Marr

February 9, 1963 – July 30, 2025

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Monica Theresa Hall-Marr, age 62, of Rosignol, Berbice, Guyana, who made her home for many years in Arizona, USA. Monica passed away peacefully on 30th July, 2025, surrounded by love and comfort.

Monica dedicated much of her life to the medical field, where her compassion, skill, and selflessness touched a countless number of lives. Beyond her profession, she was known for her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit. She never hesitated to help those in need, whether it be a family member, a friend, or a complete stranger.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Carmen Hall; her children, Robert and William Hall; Maria and Maryann Marr; her ex-husband, Michael Marr, and the entire Hall and Marr family. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Nathan, Anaya, and Emily, who brought her endless joy.

Monica is also survived by her siblings Joycelyn, Patricia, Yvonne, Gloria, Esther, Sylvia, Veronica, George, Matthew, and Mark, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her large extended family in both Antigua and Guyana. Her circle of cherished friends was wide and deep, too many to name but each person held a special place in her heart.

At her side until the very end was her beloved dog, Mia, who was her faithful companion and will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Egbert Hall, her grandfather James Wellington Hall, and her grandmother Florence Alberta Hall.

Monica’s vibrant spirit, boundless generosity, and unwavering love will live on in every life she touched. Her legacy is one of service, laughter, and compassion; a light that will never fade.

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.

May her soul continue to rest in eternal peace.
