Nathan James Vanderbeck, 39, of Mesa Arizona, passed away on May 27th, 2025.
Nathan James Vanderbeck was born on July 14th, 1985, in Phoenix, AZ, to proud first time parents Craig Edward Vanderbeck and Michele Lynn Vanderbeck (Stratton). Nathan is survived by his father, Craig Edward Vanderbeck; paternal grandmother, Caroyl Jane Vanderbeck-affectionately called “The Nana”; maternal grandmother, Deborah Chaussee- affectionately called “Grandma”; siblings, Nicole Lynn Vanderbeck, Neal Edward Vanderbeck, Nolan John Vanderbeck, and Nicholas Earl Vanderbeck.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Michele Lynn Vanderbeck; paternal grandfather, John James Vanderbeck. Nathan had a heart of gold that matched the size of his stature as a man, and he could be generous to a fault. Nathan loved his family and took on the role of being a big brother excitedly. An avid sports fan, Nathan was devoted to his Minnesota Vikings and was looking forward to the 2025 schedule he had recently received a copy of. He enjoyed playing baseball in his youth and basketball any chance he could get someone to shoot with him. Nathan was a proud uncle to five nephews. He will be eternally missed by his family, and all that knew him.
All are welcome to a memorial service at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 East Main Street Mesa, AZ 85207, on June 16th, 2025 at 2pm, with a graveside service to follow.
