Norman Shreve, a dedicated and honorable individual, passed away on September 28, 2023. He was born on January 5, 1934, in Westville, Oklahoma. Norman moved to Gilbert, Arizona early in his childhood. Norman’s life was a remarkable journey, marked by 20 years of service in the United States Air Force and an additional 25 years of devotion to the Morrison Brothers Ranch.
Norman began his career in the United States Air Force in 1952 and served our nation with unwavering commitment. During his two decades of service, he held various important roles, including Master Sergeant. His contributions to the Air Force were marked by valor and dedication. This is where Norman met his wife, Ruth of 59 years.
Following his military service, Norman found solace and purpose at the Morrison Brothers Ranch, where he dedicated 25 years of his life. His passion for ranching and his tireless work ethic made a lasting impact on the ranch and the community.
Outside of his professional life, Norman was a beloved family member and friend. His warmth, selflessness, and loyalty touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of sharing in his journey.
Norman Shreve is survived by his three children Debra Vail, Gary Shreve and Norma Dietrich. The family would like to express their gratitude to all who supported them during this difficult time.
A brief service to celebrate Norman’s life will be held on October 4th, 9am at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ.
Norman’s legacy of service, loyalty, selflessness and love for his family will always be remembered. May he rest in peace.
