On October 17, 2022 Pamela Mae Steinmetz (Stricherz) passed away peacefully in her sleep; she was 78 years old. Pam is survived by her son’s Jim and John as well as grandson Matt. Pam was predeceased by her parents, Calvin and Lillian (Berg) Stricherz, sister Sandy Rowe (Stricherz) and brother William (Bill).

Pam was an independent woman with surprising hobbies, including motorcycles. Pam had a knack for living life her way. Included is the time she drag raced through her hometown of Billings, MT and the driver in the other car ended up being her father…. or, the night she said she went to the local racetrack (which was really the river with friends) only to come home with a story that nothing exciting had happened, it was just an uneventful evening…. Except the fact the roof had been blown off the grandstands of the track during a microburst and her parents had watched it all on the evening news….

Pam loved to read and to play cards. She had a long-standing love for the Yankees, but slowly transitioned to a Cardinals baseball fan.

John 14:1-3

Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Pam has gone home to be with the Father, may she Rest in Peace.

Memorial services are pending. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association in her name.
