Patricia Dolores Derflinger, 85, passed away January 25, 2015 in Mesa, AZ. She is at peace after a long, long battle with Alzheimer’s. Preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Catherine Dover, husband Donald and brother Donald Dover, she is survived by her children Kathy (Gary) and Mike (Mary), granddaughter Brianne (Phillip) and new great grandson Emmett Michael Biczo. Also her sister in law Marge Dover and many nieces and nephews. She was sweet and caring, loved doing crafts, loved her sports, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, Phoenix Suns (Oh Charles Barkley how you made her laugh), AZ Diamondbacks (went to the World Series, but oh how she wanted Randy Johnson to get a haircut). We would like to thank Mi Casa Nursing Center and Hospice of the Valley for the care they gave Mom . Thank you to Kathy and John for all you did, really! In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mi Casa Employee Fund or Hospice of the Valley. Private services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Mesa AZ.
