Forever In the Hearts They Leave Behind

Patsy A. Gamboa

Passed Away on February 14, 2020

Patsy A. Gamboa, age 86, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was born on April 23, 1933 in Phoenix, Arizona to Don and Maria Ramirez. She lived in the Phoenix area all her life. Patsy, joined her husband of 68 years, David M. Gamboa, on February 14, 2020.  This date was significant because it was another example of the love they both had for each other.

Patsy, who worked for Motorola, Phoenix Law Library and owned several businesses over the years, was known by her family as “Nana Pat” and “Aunt Patsy”.  Her laugh could always be heard  at all of the family gatherings.  She loved nothing more than being with, cooking, listening to music and dancing to all types of music.  Patsy enjoyed watching the many children in her life grow and have families of their own while always “telling it like it is”.

Nana Pat played an integral role in the lives of her grand and great grandchildren.  Nana Pat is survived by children, David  Gamboa, Rosanne (Robert) McCauley, and Frank (Rosie) Gamboa; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Casselman and Joe Ramirez. Nana Pat is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, her daughter-in-law, Nancy and great granddaughter, Renee.

A special thank you to all the staff at Visions Senior Assisted Living of Apache Junction and to Traditions Hospice of Arizona for their exceptional care.
