Peggy, Mom, Duchess, Pegleg, Peppy, PeggySue, Aunt Peggy, was born in Ada Oklahoma on October 30th in 1952 on her mothers birthday. Her parents were Neil and Mary Johnson. She has an older brother Phil and two younger brothers Tim and Lynn. Peggy’s family moved to Mesa Arizona in 1956. She attended Emerson Elementary, Carson Jr high and graduated from Westwood high school in 1970. She also attended Lee College in Cleveland Tennessee.

Peggy was extremely proud of her father who taught at Carson and he always knew how to have fun. Her mother was always ready for a picnic and she loved celebrating their birthdays together. Peggy loved her brothers dearly, having a very special and unique relationship with each one.

Peggy was spotted by the love of her life at a church picnic in 1977. She married Steve on May 27th 1978. They loved each other dearly while teasing and taking care of each other for 43 and half years.

Peggy and Steve had their first child in 1981, Trevor and their 2nd child in 1983, Cassie. Trevor married Kimberly and they have three children, Liam, Ava and Beau. Cassie married Jason and they have three children, Tate, Bryton and Leo.

One of her greatest joys was to see her children happy and get to know and love all of her grandchildren. …she definitely loved them well.

Her greatest gift to us all was her love for everyone, pointing us to our heavenly fathers love. She was a faithful disciple. May we see her tap dancing again.

Your strong love for each other will prove to the world you are my disciple. John 13:35
