Rachel (Owen) Hawthorne, 75, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully November 12th 2016. She was born October 11th 1941 in Nuyaka, Oklahoma to John and Audie Owen. She was the most amazing wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Namon Hawthorne as well as her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, children and many, many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of which she loved dearly. She was the sixth of nine children: Bernease Bolden, Hazel Bowden, Oneil Owen, Russell Owen (deceased), Quency Owen, Gary Owen, Fern Soles, and Martin Owen (deceased). She had thirteen children herself along with six step-children: Dennis Stewart, Randy Stewart, Pete Stewart, Ron Stewart, Dan Stewart, Darren Stewart, George Stewart (deceased), Krissy Burt, Cissy Gallardo, Ben Hawthorne, Stephe Hawthorne, Debbie Hawthorne (deceased), Becky Day, Namon Hawthorne III, Gary Hawthorne, Kenny Hawthorne, David Hawthorne, Bobby Hawthorne and Roger Hawthorne. Services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery, Monday, November 21st 2016 at 2pm, located 7900 East Main Street Mesa, Arizona 85207.
