Raymond William Brodigan, Age 90, Died June 3, 2022 with his family by his side in Apache Junction, AZ.
Raymond was born in Moorhead Minnesota and attended school in Fargo, ND where he grew up. Raymond met his wife Delores in Moorhead and and they were married in Vermillion, SD in July of 1950. Raymond worked several jobs before settling at the Minneapolis Star Newspaper where he worked as a Pressman. Raymond and Delores resided in Crystal, MN where their family grew to 6 kids. Raymond worked at the Minneapolis Star for several years before an opportunity to work temporarily in California arose. Raymond began work at the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner in 1966 and moved the family to Northern California. Raymond retired from the Chronicle in 1993. Raymond and Delores spent their retirement years first in Henderson, NV, then their final home in Apache Junction. Raymond loved to camp and travel to MT, ID, and WY to often meet up with siblings for a family camping trip.. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his kids and celebrating special occasions with all of the family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Delores Brodigan and his Son David Brodigan. Raymond is survived by son Raymond J. Brodigan, daughter, Cheryl Lyon (Darryl), son Terry Scott Brodigan (Cindy), daughter Carla Brodigan (Denyse) and daughter Darcy Stewart (John). Raymond is blessed with 10 Grandchildren; Leah, Nicholas, Janelle, Jesse, Joshua, Ryan, Holly, Shawna, Rachelle and Jason. He is also proud to be blessed with 14 Great Grandchildren.
