Ricardo (Ricky) Gutierrez Jr., of Gilbert, AZ, passed away November 2, 2010. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 31, 1989. Ricky was a hard working, loving, family oriented young man whose world revolved around his 2 year old son and fiance. Ricky was ambitious, full of dreams and had hopes for a bright future. He had a love of baseball and lived his life by three words, Live, Love, Laugh. He is survived by his son, Jayden Gutierrez; fiance, Vanessa Peoples; parents, Julie A. Gutierrez, Ricardo & Rebecca Gutierrez,; brothers, Jon and Nicolas Gutierrez, Dominic Contreras; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. There will be a visitation for Ricky 5:00-8:00pm Monday November 8, 2010 with the funeral 10:00 am Tuesday November 9, 2010, both services will be at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ. In-lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank account number #7657502121.

    My husband Giovanni worked with Ricky for a short time and we attended Ricky’s memorial last night. I did not know him personally but I still shed some tears. It is obvious he was loved by many and we will missed greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with your family for peace and strength in the days to come.
