Born 6/28/1944 in Denver, CO. to Robert A. Smith and Esther M. Smith
Passed away 6/21/2026 in Apache Junction, AZ. with his wife at his side.
He graduated from Englewood H.S. in Colorado, Central College in Kansas.
He then served in the U.S. Army. He worked Safeway for 33 yrs before retiring in 2002.
He is survived by his wife Cyndi, 3 daughters Kathi (Ivan) Wright, Theresa (Maynard) Gates and Nicole (Andy) Smith. Grandchildren Alysha (Nate) Edwards, Sylvia (Alec) Gates, Indiana Gates, Jade (Anthony) Cantello, Jesse (Riley) Wright, Henry Smith LeBeau and Eloise Cartney. Also seven great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents and sister Myrna Monesmith.
A celebration of life will be held this fall. Interment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. at a later date.
