Richard V. Flora, “Pappy”, beloved husband to Gloria M Flora, and father to Rick Flora, Sally DeGryse, and Robert Flora. He was born March 8, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2017.

Happily married to Gloria for 68 1/2 years, Richard became a minister in 1973 and lived his life for the Lord. His favorite motto in life was “God will provide”. Richard and Gloria traveled the United States with the Christian Motorcycle Association for 20 years. They were also instrumental in the production of the CMA’s leather patches, worn by many fellow riders. After running 2 Christian church camps, Prescott Pines and Fort Hauchuca, they took their ministry to a church in Thorold, Ontario Canada. Where they stayed for 10 years. They returned to Arizona and the mountains they loved so much. The mighty Superstitions, in Apache Junction.

They were blessed with 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.

“Pappy” was a man of his word and always did what he said. He taught all of us to live by Faith, which at times lead to a very adventurous life for all.
