Robert Dwayne Klein, the son of Walter and Dagmar (Hansen) Klein, was born on the farm in southeast Scotia, Nebraska on March 21, 1930 and passed away in Mesa Arizona on June 4, 2020, at the age of 90.

He attended 8 years of country school in Scotia, Nebraska. He graduated from high school in 1947. Bob graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1952 with a degree in electrical engineering. He was an avid UNL football fan (Go Big Red).

Robert was drafted into the military in 1952. Most of his military time was spent in the United States. He was honorable discharged in 1954.

Upon leaving the military, Bob went to work for Boeing from 1954 through 1985 retiring after 32 years.

Robert then moved to Mesa, Arizona to be near his brother, Bernard and some of his friends who moved to Mesa also.

He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He served as the building superintendent for Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mesa.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; Walter and Dagmar Klein, and his sister-in-law, Patricia Klein.

Robert is survived by his brother, Bernard Klein, his niece, Karen Einspahr and her husband, Kelvin, his nephew, Dave Klein and his wife, Kim, and three great nephews – Kory Einspahr and his wife Casi, Jared Klein and Megan, Jameson Klein and Amanda.
