Robert Merl Starner, 66, of Chandler, AZ, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 17, 2016. Bob is the son of Merl Jack and Evelyn Martin Starner. On March 18, 2000, Bob married Phyllis Hanson at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Chandler, AZ. Bob is survived by his wife Phyllis, one son, two daughters, two grandchildren and one brother. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life for Robert Merl Starner will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 1st 2016 at Desert Cross Lutheran Church, 8600 S. McClintock Dr., Tempe AZ 85284.
